We are proud to announce that European Institute for Conflict Resolution has been accredited by the International Mediation Institute (IMI) as an IMI-approved Mediation Advocacy Qualifying Assessment Programme (MAQAP).
EICR holds dual accreditation by the International Mediation Institute (IMI). Our organisation is accredited to deliver IMI Certified Mediator Training Programs (CMTPs)—initially approved in August 2022 and successfully re-approved in April 2025—as well as to operate as an IMI-approved Mediation Advocacy Qualifying Assessment Programme (MAQAP).
These accreditations confirm that our training and assessment processes meet IMI’s rigorous international standards, which are recognised globally as independent benchmarks of professional excellence. IMI standards are developed in consultation with mediation stakeholders and practitioners worldwide, under the guidance of IMI Task Forces.
EICR provide IMI CMTP Mediation Training Programs, approved in August 2022 and successfully re-approved in April 2025. Certified Mediator Training Programs(CMTPs), deliver high-quality mediator training that meets the international standards established by the International Mediation Institute and recognized by intergovernmental standard-setting bodies. These standards are independent measures of quality and are created in consultation with stakeholders and practitioners around the world, under the guidance of IMI Task Forces.

EICR Mediation Training Programs are committed to promoting diversity within the training environment and recognize the value of different backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. The programs respect and welcome diversity related to race, ethnicity, culture, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, language, nationality, socioeconomic background. All participants, trainers and staff are expected to engage respectfully and professionally, contributing to a learning environment where differences are acknowledged and valued. Discrimination or exclusion based on personal characteristics is not tolerated. This policy applies to all program activities and is reviewed periodically to ensure continued relevance.
